Rosemary G. Cleary-Drnek

Rosemary G. Cleary-Drnek, 83, of Rockford, surrounded by her family, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Sunday, July 12, 2015. She was born in Rockford on July 4, 1932; to parents, Adolph and Leona (nee Frieden) Blotz. Rosemary was a graduate of Bishop Muldoon High School, and went on to marry Richard Cleary in 1956. She was a devout and faithful member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Rockford. Next to God, home and family were most important to Rosemary. She also worked as Office Manager at Superior Travel in Rockford, from 1981-1999. Rosemary lived her life to serve God and others, she will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her husband, John Drnek; children, Roberta (Dale) Ramsey, Cynthia (James) Horton, Deborah (George) McCann, and Michael (DeeAnne) Cleary; The Drnek Family, Pete, Jim, Johnny, and Mary; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; cousin, Barb Turner; special friends, Loretta & Bonnie.
She is predeceased by her parents, and her husband, Richard in 1988.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM, Friday, July 17, 2015, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4407 Highcrest Rd., Rockford, Il, 61107, with burial immediately following at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 PM, Thursday, July 16, 2015, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL, 61108, and one hour prior to Mass on Friday. Memorial donations may be made in Rosemary’s honor to Holy Family Catholic Church. Funeral arrangements cared for by Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel.
