Rosemarie M. Ziemba 73 of Rockford died Tuesday September 29, 2015 in Rockford. A Diabetic for over 25 years.
Rosemarie was born May 4, 1942 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Joseph and Josephine (Rosengalno aka Rosignolo) Campanella. Rosemarie graduated from Steinmetz High School in June 1960 and married Frank V. Ziemba on September 2, 1961 in St. Priscilla’s Catholic Church in Chicago, IL. Rosemarie worked as Head Bookkeeper for 10 years at Dutch Mill Candies in Chicago, IL. After having three children she worked for Thomas Engineering Inc. Hoffman Estates, IL and moved to Rockford in 1987 and after completing two years of Cost Accounting at Rock Valley College in 1993 was transferred to Triangle Metals Division of Thomas Engineering Inc. for a total of 31 years as Head Bookkeeper and retired April, 2008.
Mother of Tina Marie Trausch, Christa Marie Heniff-Laudicina, and Jo Anna Marie Ziemba. Grandmother of James Robert Trausch, Matthew Allen Trausch, Lynn Marie Sullivan, Toni Lea Heniff, Nikko James Laudicina, Alexis Rosemarie Laudicina, Kyle Hudson Ziemba-Potter and Christian Michael Ziemba-Cardot. Great Grandmother to Matthew Mark David Sullivan-Bruder and to Francisco Javier Giovanni Heniff-Nunez.

Pre deceased by parents Joseph and Josephine Campanella, brother, Phillip Campanella, sister Dolores Ida Campanella Rubino and stepmother, Dorothy Vogt King Campanella, stepbrother, Charles G. King, and step grandmother, Margaret Rose Vogt.
Funeral Mass 11 a.m. Monday, October 5, 2015 at St. Rita Catholic Church with Fr. William Wentink officiating. Burial in Arlington Cemetery. Visitation 6-8 pm Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel. Visitation also Monday, Oct 5, 2015 from 10 am until time of service at St. Rita.
