Rose Sheets

Rose Sheets, 85 of Rockford entered into Eternal Life Saturday, November 17, 2007. Born March 4, 1922 the daughter of Charles and Myrtle (Horan) Hyland. Rose worked for Rockford Memorial Hospital as an administrative assistant before her retirement. She also worked on the draft board during WWII and was the secretary for Holy Family Catholic Church when the church began. Rose was very active in the church as well as numerous other social groups. Rose was a sweet and gentile woman who answered the Lords calling with a willing smile.nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;nbsp;
Rose is survived by her life partner Bob Bremner, children Carol (Jack) Cratty, Carl (Pat) Flood, Martha (Rob) Reiser, Molly (Gary) Soper and Drs. Sara (Chris) Thompson. Grandchildren Todd Cratty, Tricia Cratty, Cristy McKee, Nicole Flood- Flessner, Amy Billedo, Matt Reiser, Gretchen Byrd, Kevin Reiser, Justin Soper, Trevor Soper, Shannon Soper and Ali Thompson. Great Grandchildren Kelsey, Sean, Tyler, Corey, Mariah, Brady, Jaxon, Megan, Chase, Brody, Abigail, Troy and Colby. Sisters Katherine Kay Byrne, Eileen Doig and Margaret Byers. Brother Edward Hyland and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Rose is predeceased by her parents, her husbands Bob Flood and Roger Sheets, and her granddaughter Stacy Soper. nbsp; Funeral Mass will be Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. in Holy Family Catholic Church with the Rev. David E. Beauvais officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of Mass. Interment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
