Rose Mary Leazer, 93, of Rockford, passed away on Friday, August 15, 2008 in Provena Cor Mariae after a very long illness. Born July 12, 1915 in New Haven, IA; daughter of Mathias J. & Martha (Gilles) Fox. Their family moved to Spooner, WI where she grew up and taught at a one-room school, Blooming Valley School for 5 years. She married Wayne S. Leazer on June 1, 1937 in Sheboygan, WI. They lived in the Chicago suburbs where she worked 26 years (1952-1978) at G.D. Searle Pharmaceutical Co. until her retirement in 1978. She then moved to Rockford and lived with her sister Leone as they cared for their ailing mother. She was member of Holy Family Catholic Church, and volunteered at St. Anne Nursing Home and OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. She was also an avid Packer fan. Survivors include her Grandson, Michael (Kathy) Will of Muscatine, IA and Patricia (Jude) Lai of Rockford; great-grandchildren, Jacob and Lucas Will; sister, Leone Fox of Denver, CO; son-in-law, James Will of Rockford; great-grandchildren, Jacob Will, Lucas Will and Emma Lai; and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents; husband, daughter, Rosemary Will and 6 of her siblings. The family would like to thank the staff at Provena Cor Mariae Skilled Care and The Bickford House for their loving care. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4401 Highcrest Rd. with Rev. Andrew C. Hougan officiating. Burial in Maryhill Cemetery, 8600 N. Milwaukee Ave Niles, IL. Visitation to be held on Monday, August 18, 2008 from 6-7pm with a rosary recited at 6:45pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford, IL 61108 and from 10:30 11:00am Tuesday at the church. Memorials may be made to the family. To
