Rose Emma Paulsen

Rose E. Paulsen, 85 of Cherry Valley, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014. Born September 10, 1928, in Turtle Lake, WI, the daughter of Herman & Alice (Austin) Frey. She grew up in the Rice Lake, WI area later moving to Chicago, IL. Rose married Eugene Paulsen in Skokie, IL. They loved to travel together and had many wonderful experiences on their trips. Rose worked for Baxter Laboratories and the Avon Company for many years. She was a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Skokie. Rose enjoyed reading, tending flowers and working in the yard, most of all spending time with her family. Survivors include Niece Lorraine (Gary) Zajac-Knott and nephew Thomas (Becky) Zajac. Predeceased by her husband, parents and siblings. A private service will be held to celebrate Rose's life.
