Ronald Earl Nagel

Ronald Earl Nagel, 62, of Rockford, died on Friday, August 1, 2008 in his home following a lengthy illness. Born November 25, 1945 in Chicago, the son of Earl and Irene (Dillon) Nagel. Lived in Rockford for 18 years, coming from here from Salt Lake City, Utah. He married Sally G. Hart in Salt Lake City on March 4, 1988. Ronald worked as a sales representative for construction products and later owned and operated Handyman Services. He is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. Ronald enjoyed golfing and boating. He was an avid hunter and loved to tinker with his tools in his garage. Survivors include his wife, Sally; mother, Irene Nagel; sister, Gale Nagel both of Crystal Lake; and beloved sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Predeceased by his father. There will be a Celebration of Life gathering at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at Sams Ristorante amp; Pizzeria, 6075 E.
