Roger N. Mace, 68, Rockford, died at 2:40 P.M. Tuesday, December 4, 2007 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born May 9, 1939 in DeKalb, son of Kenneth W. Mace and Helen Faulkner Mace Hawkes. Married Naomi Sharpe on March 4, 1964. She died on December 10, 1998. Employed by Camcar Corp for many years. Veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his beloved friend, Carol Crane, Rockford; brothers, William R. (Charli) Mace, Palm Bay, FL. and Ronald K. Mace, Rockford; sisters, Ruthe A. (John) Suh, Rockford, Mary J. Diderich, Sharon, WI.; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis and Elaine Sharpe, Caledonia and several nieces and nephews. Also predeceased by his parents and his brother Ray. Funeral service at 1:00 p.m. Friday, December 7, 2007 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Rev. Brent Dahlseng, Grace Lutheran Church, officiating.
