Roger Jeffrey Erdmier

Winnebago - Roger Jeffrey Erdmier, 52, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, great-uncle, and friend passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born July 3, 1963 to Roger Lee & Barb (Stimpert) Erdmier. Jeff married the love of his life, Barbara Schmidt, on March 4, 1989 in Rockford, IL. He owned and operated his own website design company, Jumping Trout, Inc. He enjoyed golfing with his “golf mafia” friends, fishing, but most of all he was a family man and enjoyed spending time with his three daughters. Jeff was an avid sports fan and enjoyed the Chicago Blackhawks, Cubs, and Bears. He prioritized his family, especially his children, above all else. Jeff will be remembered for his generous spirit and loving heart. His giving nature will continue through the “Gift of Hope” program as an organ donor. Survivors include mother Barb (Dick) Berman; wife Barb, daughters Hannah, Samantha “Sami”, and Alexandra “Alli”; sister Diane (Kevin) Fitzgerald; brothers Greg (Marion) and Brad (Terri) Erdmier; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends. He is preceded in death by father, maternal and paternal grandparents, several aunts, uncles, and mother-in-law Kathie Waldron.
Services will be 11 AM Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at Fitzgerald funeral home and crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd, Rockford, IL. Visitation will be from 6 PM to 8 PM Tuesday and also from 10 AM until time is service Wednesday at the funeral home.
