Roger Dean Supler

Roger Dean Supler, 64, Rockford, died Thursday, January 8, 2009, in Swedish American Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer. He was born July 9, 1944, in Rochelle, the son of Delbert and Marge (Isley) Supler. Roger was a meat cutter for more than 45 years. He was most recently with WalMart in DeKalb. Roger was a member of the NRA and was a strong supporter of all Veterans organizations. He was an avid reader, but most of all, he loved to dance. Survived by his fianca(c), Shirley France of Rockford; step-son, Eric (Aletha) France; step-daughter, Heather France; father, Delbert Del Supler, Rochelle; 2 sisters, Karen (Supler) Lee and Bonnie (Randy) Masterson, both of Rochelle; 2 step-grandchildren, Peyton and Kasey (little bit and many nieces and nephews. Roger was predeceased by his mom, Marge. A memorial gathering will be from 5pm until 7pm, Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S.
