Roberta A. Schacht

Roberta A. Schact, 90, passed away in Dora, Missouri on February 8, 2025. Born in Chicago, Illinois on March 2, 1934, daughter to Whalen and Katherine Hoyt. She met the love of her life, Robert Frank “Bob” Schacht Sr. and they wed on January 10, 1953, in York Center. They shared 57 wonderful years of marriage for his passing in November of 2010. Roberta was a loving, faithful, kindhearted woman who will be greatly missed.

She will be missed by those who loved her most, her daughter, Batya Emunah (Leona Schacht) and her son-in-law Zerubbabel; numerous beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a great-great grandchild. She is predeceased by her husband Bob Schacht Sr.; their children Diana Louise and Robert A. Schacht Jr.; and her sister Jean Dekker.

A time to honor Roberta’s life will take place on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until the time of funeral service, 10:30 a.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, Illinois 61108. Burial to follow in Dundee Township Cemetery, Illinois 72 and Illinois 25 in East Dundee.
