Robert T. "Bob" Arnold

Robert Thomas “Bob” Arnold, 74, Rockford, passed away at home on Monday, October 31, 2016. He was born December 21, 1941, in Rockford, the son of Willard and Imogene (Jensen) Arnold. Bob was a graduate of Rockford West High School. He was a veteran serving in the Navy. Bob married Sandra “Sandie” K. Parrovechio in Rockford on January 15, 1977. He was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Bob worked in sales at Rock River Distributors and then as a real estate salesman for Smith McLanahan Realtors. He then owned Mid-States Cemetery Sales associated with Highland Garden of Memories Cemetery in Belvidere until his retirement. Bob was a 3rd degree member of Knights of Columbus Muldoon Council 470 and he was a past member of the Lombardi Club and the Harmony Club. Bob enjoyed playing cards and loved all of his pets.
Survived by his wife, Sandie; his mother, Imogene G. Arnold; his sisters, Dorothy D. Blythe and Virginia L. Higgins and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father, Willard.
Funeral Mass will be at 10 A.M., Friday, November 4, 2016, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1010 Ferguson St. Rockford with the Franciscan Friars officiating. Burial in Willwood Burial Park. Cremation rites have been accorded. Visitation from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. on Thursday, November 3,2016, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Rockford.
