Robert Sherman Penzotti

Robert S. Penzotti 78 of Rockford passed away at 5:10 am on December 20, 2009 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. He was born December 24, 1930 in Chicago, son of Albert Henry Penzotti and Bernice Ruth Penzotti King. Robert came from California in 1990. He married Loella Marilene Gray in Sycamore, IL on January 1, 1953. He served in the Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Robert loved many things in life, including the Cubs, Bears, Bowling and especially golf and his family.

Survivors include his wife of 57 years of marriage; Loella Marilene of Rockford; children; Roger (Peggy) Penzotti of Brunswick, GA, Linda Penzotti of San Francisco, CA, Robert Jr.(Pia) Penzotti of Columbus, WI, Carol (Stephen) McWilliams of Manchester, IA, Kathryn (Dennis) Wendling of Manchester, IA and Michael (Julie) Penzotti of Ceres, CA; sixteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; sisters; Marilyn (Tom) Main of Baldwin, MO and Dorothy Jones of Imperial Beach, CA. Predeceased by his parents and brother, Marshall King.

Memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday December 26, 2009 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory, 3910 N. Rockton Ave Rockford IL. with Pastor William J. Ward officiating.
