Robert "Rob" L. Smith

Robert “Rob” L. Smith, 73, of Winnebago, passed away September 29, 2018 in the comfort of his home with family. Born September 2, 1945 in Hammond, IN; he was the son of Robie and Colleen (Evans) Smith. He married Peggy Lowe on March 22, 2009 in San Diego.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Rob attended Berean Baptist Church.
He enjoyed golf, gambling, attending antique car shows and spending time with his family, especially his baby girl.
Survivors include his wife, Peggy Smith; children, Misty (Greg) Freman, Michael Camarillo and Julianna Smith; grandchildren, Cienna Freman, Christopher Chavez and Andrea Chavez; and his brother, Gary (Nina) Myers.
Rob was preceded in death by his parents; son, Robert Smith Jr.; sister, Helen Neece and brother, Robbie Estepp.
