Robert P. Fuller

Robert P. Fuller, 86, of Rockford, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.

Robert was born in Rice Lake, WI on February 11, 1934, son of Frank and Ethel (Knutson) Fuller. He graduated from Rice Lake High School. Robert married Dolores Savina in Rice Lake, WI on February 6, 1954. He worked for Twin Disc for 30 years in research and development and as maintenance supervisor and later worked for Hydro-Line Inc. Robert was a member of the Twin Disc breakfast Club. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and family. They took several cruises and visited many countries. He enjoyed working in his yard and garden at home and was a die-hard Green Bay Packers fan, watching and attending as many games as he could. He was also the proud owner of a 1966 Volkswagen Bug that was very special to him. Most of all, Robert enjoyed the time spent with his family who meant everything to him. He will forever be our “Papa” and will be dearly missed.

Robert is survived by his wife and love of his life for 66 years, Dolores Fuller; cherished daughters, Sue (Greg) Hodges and Sandy (Brad) Denny; grandchildren, Kelly Maurer, Molly (Jason) Brauer, Zachary (Miranda) Glawe, Morgan Glawe (Jayson Villamil), Jacob (Amanda) Glawe, Tyler Glawe (Kayla Schlensker), Nicholas (Mitchell) Huftalin and Alexander Glawe; step-grandchildren, Bradley (Kim) Denny and Daniel (Megan) Denny; great-grandchildren, Colton, Dylan, Everly and Kora; great-grandson to be born soon, Baby Glawe; step-grandchildren, Landon, Parker, Melanie, Bradley, Payton, Nathaniel, Jack and Jaimee; brother, Douglas (Leah) Fuller; sister-in-law, Diane Craine and several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents; brother, Harold (Carol) Fuller; Harold (Georgia) Knutson who raised Robert as their own; parents-in-law, Clement (Mary) Savina.

Private family services will be held. There will be a Celebration of Life planned for a later date. Final resting place will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum.
