Robert Lewis

Robert L. Bob Lewis 65 of Rockford passed away Sunday February 17, 2013 in his home.nbsp; He was born April 21, 1947 in Effingham, IL.nbsp; The son of Marvin and Kathryn Lewis.nbsp; He married Barbara Boyd on April 25, 1987 in Rockford.nbsp; Bob worked many years for the Rockford Park District and over 20 years for the Winnebago County States Attorney.nbsp; He served in the Army during the Vietnam War serving in the 26 th nbsp;Artillery Unit and proud member of the Loves Park VFW Post No.9759.

Survivors include his wife Barbara.nbsp; Three daughters,nbsp; Anne (Scott) Shaw of Seattle, Kathryn of Rockford and Elisabeth of Rockford.nbsp; Brother, Marvin (Sharen)Lewis of Rockford and Jack (Sharon) Lewis of Effingham. nbsp;Predeceased by his parents.nbsp;nbsp; The family wishes to thank all his friends at Loves Park VFW and the Winnebago County States Attorneys office.nbsp; Bob loved serving America whether it was over seas or here at home.nbsp;
