Robert L. Moore

Robert “Bob” L. Moore, 78, passed away on April 26, 2022 in Belvidere, Illinois. Born on October 8, 1943 in Chaffee, Missouri, son to Raymond and Zella (Foster) Moore. Bob worked at Wauconda Tool & Engineering LLC in Algonquin, Illinois until retiring as a supervisor. In his free time he enjoyed watching CNN, traveling, but most importantly he adored spending time with his children and grandchildren.

Bob will be missed by those who loved him most, his wife of 29 years, Dolores; his children Karen Moore and Kevin (Deanne) Moore; his stepchildren Dolly (Bill) Draft, Frank (Lori) Rose, Steven (Lisa) Rose, Chuck (Robin) Rose, Rob (Fred Hernandez) Rose, Terry (Gabbi) Rose and Jeff (Yvonne) Rose; numerous beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; sisters Marcella Moore and Kathleen “Snooks” Lee; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predeceased by his parents, two brothers and seven sisters.

A visitation will take place on Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford, Illinois 61108. Burial to take place the following day at Windridge Cemetery in Cary, Illinois. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association of Rockford, 1111 S Alpine Road #307, Rockford, Illinois 61108.
