ROBERT E. KLEIN, 76 ROCKFORD - Robert E. Klein, 76 of Rockford passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 in OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born September 27, 1938 in Rockford, the son of Harold M. & Mary B. (Burke) Klein. He married Mary Kreitzman in Rockford, on May 9, 1959, Robert was employed by Motor Parts, Napa Auto, and was Co-owner of 5 Points Auto Parts with friend Jim Appino for many years. Member of Holy Family Catholic Church where he attended mass daily. He was a hard working man. He enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. Which included many years spent at their cottage on Pleasant Lake in Westfield Wisconsin. He is survived by his wife; Mary Klein; sons Robert J. (Ramona) Klein and John M. Klein; daughter Lisa (Scott) McMahon; grandchildren Tyler and Jenna McMahon; brother Raymond J. (Barbara) Klein; sister Mary Alice (Tom) Stobart, and numerous nieces. He is predeceased by parents. The family will receive friends from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM, Thursday, February 26, 2015, the Mass will be at Holy Family Catholic Church at 11:00 AM. Interment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
