Robert C Willey

Robert C. Willey, 91, of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, May 30, 2017. He was born in Rockford on December 25, 1925; to parents, Dorice “Doc” C. and Svea K. (Wedin) Willey. Bob married his loving wife, JoAnn Accola on November 15, 1980 in Rockford. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy during World War II, participating in the invasion of Normandy.

A memorial Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on June 8, 2017; at St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Dr., Rockford, IL, 61109; with a visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
