Robert "Bob" J. Moscinski

On Friday, September 1, 2023 Robert (Bob) J Moscinski, 83, passed away. Born June 23, 1940 to Bernard and Ludmilla (Konopa) Moscinski in Arpin, WI. Bob grew up in Rockford, Il and graduated from St. Thomas. Bob married Jaclyn Cragin in 1969 and was a member of White Eagle’s Club in Southwest Rockford. Bob worked at several companies in the Rockford area before starting his own painting business in 1983 then later became the maintenance technician at Milestone Inc. 

Survivors include his siblings Bonnie (Jerry) Andelman, Amy (Bill) Russell, Gordon (Mary) Moscinski, Denny Moscinski, Daughters: Mechel Moscinski, Nicole (Mark Gillette ) Moscinski, Stacy (Larry) Fraser. Grandchildren: Cody Fuller, Ashly (Cory) Fraser, Brittany (Zack), Dustin (Hayley) Fraser, Jackie Fraser, Benjamin Gillette, Carter Fraser, Alexandria Gillette. Great Grandchildren, Eli and Autumn. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Jenifer Jesionowski, brother, Kenneth Moscinski.

Bob had a caring heart and was always willing to help anyone in need. Bob will always be remembered for his sense of humor and easy going nature. In his younger years Bob enjoyed water skiing, fishing and bowling. In his later years, Bob enjoyed leisurely drives, feeding squirrels, jigsaw puzzles, playing bingo, and spending time with his daughters, grandchildren and grand-dogs. The family would like to express sincere gratitude to the the wonderful care he received by the staff at Symphony Northwoods of Belvedere IL. 

Visitation will begin at 10:00 am on Friday September 8, 2023 at St. Rita’s Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Drive, Rockford, IL 61109. A funeral mass will follow the visitation starting at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family.
