Robbie E. Miller, 70, Cherry Valley, died in her home at 4:12 a.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 surrounded by her loving family, close friends and caregivers, all of whom she loved very much.Born July 7, 1942 in Toccoa, GA, daughter of Robert L. Bowers and Grace Segars Bowers.Lived in Cherry Valley for 34 years, coming from Chicago.Married the love of her life, Darrell R. Miller in Chicago on February 17, 1962.While in Chicago, she worked for North Cicero Dodge as an office manager for 10 years.After moving to Cherry Valley in 1977 Robbie worked for JohnsonOlson Floor Coverings in Rockford and Spectrum TSI Floor Coverings as an office manager and interior designer.She finished her career working as an interior consultant for Zentz and Associates.Robbie was a long time member of Kishwaukee Baptist Church and also enjoyed attending Community Bible Church.Robbies passions were her faith, family, interior design, traveling and seeing the country on the back of a "Harley" ! Survivors include her husband, Darrell Miller, Cherry Valley; son Jim Miller, Cherry Valley; daughter, Krisanne Cozart, Rockford; grandsons, Justin Miller, Charles, Ross and Levi Cozart;granddaughters, Naomi Grace Cozart and Madison (Cozart) Jones; soninlaw, Charles (Stacey) Cozart; sister, Sandy Hendrix, Cherry Valley; many nieces, nephews and greatnieces and greatnephews. Predeceased by her parents.The family would like to extend a special thanks to the loving caregivers of Heartland Hospice.To all of you, "Thank you for your love and support" , and also a special thanks to Sherri Lewandowski for all her love and support. Funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 10, 2012 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Pastor Tim Ramsden and Pastor Steve Ramsden officiating.Burial in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.Visitation from 58 p.m. Tuesdayand from 10 a.m. until time of the service on Wednesday.Memorials may be made to Parkinson Research Institute, Aurora Sinai Medical Center, 945 N. 12th St, Ste. 4602, Milwaukee, WI 53233.
