Rick A. Panzer

Rick Arthur Panzer, 68, of Rockford, passed away on January 2, 2025, at home surrounded by his family. He was born on February 24, 1956, in Minnesota, the son of Herman and Lillian (Wilkin) Panzer. 

In his younger years, Rick enjoyed riding motorcycles and fast cars. He enjoyed traveling across the States, specifically to the Smokey Mountains, both for his honeymoon and camping trips with his family. He had a passion for woodworking and building furniture. Rick was a loving and strengthening husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. 

He is survived by his wife, Marty (Dwyer) Panzer; children, Christopher (Nicole) Panzer, Jason (Allison) Ruckman, and Amanda (Zac) Cook; grandchildren, Bryson and Brennan Panzer, Marissa Ruckman, and Rosemary and Abraham Cook; brother, Roger Panzer; his dog, Siles; and cat, Nadia. He is predeceased by his parents, and sister-in-law, Sylvia Panzer.
