Richard Charles Young

Richard Charles Young Sr., 63, of Mt. Pleasant, SC, formerly of Harvard, IL., passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2007 in South Carolina. Mr. Young was born August 27, 1943 in Kewanee, IL, son of Eunice Eilleen Young and the late, Clifford Charles Young. He received his Masters in Education and taught school in the Harvard District for thirty-two years. He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church, a member of the Low Country Senior Group, and Senior Olympics. He took great pride in his family and loved the game of "Horseshoes" . Survived by his two sons, Rich Young Jr. and his wife, Julie of Mt. Pleasant, SC and Matt Young and his wife, Suzannah of Rockford, IL; grandchildren, Ellen, Caleb, Logan, Rebekah, Anna and Nicholas; mom, Eunice Young of Commerce City, CO; brother, Kurt Young and his wife, Janice of Commerce City, CO. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, August 16, 2007 in Grand Prairie Cemetery, Rt. 17, east of Reddick, IL.
