Richard A. Jensen

Richard A. Jensen, 63, of Rockford, passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center. Born May 20, 1955 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, the son of Ralph P. Jensen & Elizabeth L. Morris. Married Mary Rouse in Roselle, IL on September 1, 1990. They moved to the Rockford area in 1991. Richard worked for Angelic Organics. Richard always had enjoyed airshow and aviation. He had attained the rank of Major in the Civil Air Patrol, and was the Commander of the Rockford 251 Composite Squadron of the Rockford airport, group 4 in the Civil Air Patrol.
Survivors include wife, Mary; sons Patrick and Brendan; mother, Elizabeth J. (Paul) Haupt; brothers, Michael (Barbara), David (Char) and Thomas (Tess) Jensen; Uncle Robert McBroom; father in law James L. Rouse; brothers in law Martin Rouse and Thomas Rouse and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Celebration of Life will be at 12 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 1860 S. Mulford Rd., Rockford, IL 61108.
