Reveriano Soria

Reveriano Soria, 87, Rockford, passed away in his home on May 2, 2023. Born on June 1, 1935, in Pedro Escobedo, Queretaro, Mexico son to Amado and Bacilia (Mauricio) Soria. In 1958 he married the love of his life, Maria Engracia Rico. He retired from Quaker Oats and was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.

He is survived by those who loved him most, his children Elias Soria, Ofelia Erdman, Lucia (Richard) McFarlane, Irma (Martin) Marquez, Amado Soria, Yolanda (Juan) Mendoza, Sonia (Martin) Delgado and Laura (Ronald) Burkins; 14 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and two great grandchildren on the way; his siblings Fidel Soria, Guadalupe Soria, and Elvia Mauricio; numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt and special thank you to Irene.

Funeral Mass on Friday, May 5, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. James Catholic Church, Beauvais Center, 428 N 2nd Street, Rockford, Illinois. Interment at Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation to take place from 9:30 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. James Catholic Church.
