Regina A. Gulotta

Regina A. Gulotta, 87, Rockford, passed away Wednesday, January 8, 2014, in East Bank Center in Loves Park. She was born January 25, 1926, in Rockford, the daughter of John B. and Antionette Pro. She married George A. Gulotta in Rockford on February 2, 1947. He passed away on September 10, 1997. Regina was a member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.
Survived by her daughter, Georgina "Jeannie" (Stan) Fornal of Cherry Valley; son, Benjamin "Ben" (Dionna) Gulotta of Loves Park; grandchildren, Amy (Robert) Peterson, Michael Fornal, and Gabriel "Gabe" Gulotta; great-grandchildren, Trent Robert Peterson and twins, Tyler Daniel and Clara Marie Peterson; sisters, Eda Williams and Mickey (Lyle) Bleile; brother, Angelo Pro; brother-in-law, Floyd Liberatori and sister-in-law, Betty Pro; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by husband, George; parents; sisters, Helen Buscemi, Rita Liberatori, and Dalia (Frank) Giardono; brothers, Aldo (Louise) Pro, Emil, Bob and Anthony Pro.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 11, 2014, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation from 10 am until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
