Randy G. Ruckman

Randy Gene Ruckman, 63, of Rockford passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 after a long illness. Randy was born December 14, 1953 in Glendive, MT, the son of Gene Franklin Ruckman and Mary Ann Ruckman. Formerly employed by Rockford Products, National Lock, Elco, Textron and most recently as Manager of Design Services at Gunite Corporation. Past Chairman of SME, 1999-2002 (Society of Manufacturing Engineers).
Randy enjoyed hobbies including flying the plane he bought with his brother Dan, gun collecting, trap shooting, archery and watching sports.

Survivors include daughter, Jenifer (Greg) Stivers, Rockford; mother, Mary Ruckman, Buford, GA; sister, Sandy (Bob) Doty, Buford, GA; brother, Dan Ruckman, Roswell, GA; nieces Jamie (Rich) Chatham of Smyrna, GA. and Janna (Sam) Shmurduq of Canton, GA. Randy was predeceased in death by his father Gene Franklin Ruckman.
Randy will be greatly missed by his family and friends and will live in their hearts forever.
