Ralph Hagemann

Ralph Hagemann, 82, Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 surrounded by his loving family. Born August 22, 1929 in Rockford; the son of Fred R. and Mildred Hagemann. Graduated from Mt. Morris High School class of 1950. Ralph married his loving wife Myrna Lundin in 1955. He was employed as a union carpenter until his retirement from Superior Drywall in 2000. He was a proud member of Carpenters local No.792 for over 50 years. Ralph was an avid Cubs and Bears fan, enjoyed playing basketball, softball and bowling. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched and those who knew him. Member of Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church and volunteer for Habitat for Humanity.

Ralph is survived by his wife, Myrna, daughters, Pamela Salerno (Delbert Maro) and Penne Graham; grandchildren, Gina (Joe) Dawsey, Joshua Graham, Alexandria Graham, Jacob Graham and Kaitlyn Owens; greatgrandchildren, Jason, Alayjah and Carter; Brother, Darrellnbsp; (Joni) Hagemann; Brotherinlaw, Everett (Wilda) Lundin; sistersinlaw, Ebba Fewell and Joyce (Henk) Olthof; nbsp;many nieces, nephews and friends; special pup Annie. Predeceased by parents, sister, 2 infant daughters and grandson, Zachery Graham. The family would like to thank all of Ralphs caregivers as well as OSF Home Care and Hospice including Dr. Michael Kouimelis; nurse Jen Jurik and OSF Home Infusion Pharmicist, Shawn Rylatt for their compassionate care.

Visitation will be from 5:00 8:00 p.m. on Friday, December 16, 2011 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford Chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. Burial will take place at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 in Willwood Burial Park. A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Shepherd of the Valley Church 2715 S. Mulford Rd.
