Rainer "Ray" P. Scholze

Rainer "Ray" P. Scholze, 51, of Rockford, passed away August 20, 2018. Born February 10, 1967 in Dortmund, Germany; he was the son of Adolf W. and Christel (Mueller) Scholze.
He was employed with Woods Equipment Company, a subsidiary of Blount International for 15 years.
Rainer was a great man with a big heart who loved his family and the simple life. He enjoyed making others laugh, attending classic car shows, buying and selling vintage bicycles, and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his mother, Christel Scholze; brother, Uwe (Mary) Scholze; nieces, Mallory (Dan) Loch and Kellie (Dennis) Andre; 2 great nephews and 1 great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his father.
