Pravina Patel

Pravina Jitendra Patel, 87, Machesney Park resident, died Tuesday, April 27, 2021 in Javon Bea Hospital. Born June 2, 1933 in Vadodra India, daughter of Ramanlal Patel and Chandanba Patel. Married Jitendra Patel in 1954. He predeceased her in 2005.

Pravina’s family was always the most important thing in her life; especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved to sing and spent her college years studying music. She also loved to cook and enjoyed daytime TV. She was very talented at knitting, crocheting and needlepoint and loved and enjoyed jewelry. The Bindi held much importance to her throughout her life.

Survivors include her sons, Rajesh (Ann) Patel and Rajiv (Sweta) Patel; brother, Indrakant Patel; grandchildren, Shiralee, Alark (Rinku) Amolee and Ashay; great-grandchidren, Ruhaan and Sahaana. Also predeceased by two sisters and three brothers.

A service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 2, 2021 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd.
