Phyllis A. Perrone, 56 of Rockford passed away December 28, 2007. Born May 7, 1951 in Peru, Il the daughter of Alex and A. Celestine (Ritza) Rudzinski. Phyllis married Paul T. Perrone on July 23, 1977 in St. James Catholic Church in Rockford. Phyllis was a graduate of Illinois State University and was a dedicated and loving teacher at St. James School in Rockford for over 20 years. Phyllis deeply loved her family and enjoyed her family gatherings. She also enjoyed scrapbooking, fishing, being on the boat out on the lake, traveling and her special work with Red Ribbon. Phyllis had a great passion for teaching and positively influencing the lives of young children. She also taught religious education for numerous years and was very proud of her Polish heritage. Phyllis is survived by her husband Paul, daughters Melissa (Fiancee Talyor) Perrone, Lisa (Mike) Falzone and Paula Perrone. Brother John (Bonnie) Rudzinski, Mother- In- Law Lillian Perrone, Sister- In- Law Bev (John) Johnson, Brother- In- Law David Perrone. Nephews Ross, Ryan, Andy (Alexandra) and Tim (Brandi). Nieces Nancy (Jon), Andrea (Shawn), Brittany and Kirsten. One loving great niece and four loving great nephews and very special friends. Predeceased by her parents and brother Raymond Rudzinski. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 3, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in St. James Catholic Church with the Rev. David Beauvais officiating. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road with a Wake Service conducted at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until time of Mass in the church. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family and a memorial will be established in her honor at a later date. To
