Phatsana Soukhaphon

Phatsana Soukhaphon, 62, of Rockford, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024. He was born on August 21, 1961, in Laos. He married his wife, One (Inthavong) Soukhaphon in Rockford. Before he retired, he worked at Heartwood Creations for many years and was a long-time member of the Rattanaram Buddhist Temple. Phatsana loved to watch soccer, rooting for Real Madrid and the Morocco National Team. He was an expert socializer, he was able to talk to anyone about anything and was always one to make a joke. He was very crafty, being able to D.I.Y. everything.

Phatsana is survived by his wife, One; his son, Anousone Soukhaphon; his daughter, Daraphone Soukhaphon; he is preceded by his father, mother, and his two older brothers.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 12, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home and Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Road, Rockford IL, 61108, with a cremation service to follow. Please share memories and extend online condolences at www.fitzgeraldfh.com.
