Peter A. Poli

Peter Poli, 64, of Rockford, passed away Thursday, March 31, 2016. He was born in Rockford on March 6, 1952, the son of Gene and Mary (Dallosto) Poli. He graduated from Boylan Catholic High School in 1970. Peter was a faithful member of St. Anthony of Padua Parish, and a volunteer at Sportscore 1 for many years. He was an avid animal lover, and a kind person, who loved all he met.
He is survived by his sister, Marianne Larson; his nieces and nephews, John Larson, Michael Larson, Michelle (Mark) McGinnis, Katie Larson, Sue Larson, Renee Kanak, Bob (Beth) Larson, Mary Larson, Jean Larson, Mary (Nick) Lomma, Dominic Lomma, Sarabeth Lomma, Carolyn (Chad) Jacobs, Kelly Jacobs, Nicholas Jacobs, Nathan Jacobs, Joshua Jacobs, Jay Larson, Tammy (Mark) Burke, Luke (Kimberly) Burke, Ryan (Brandi) Burke, Katie (Drew) Bartel, Thomas Earlywine, Shea Earlywine, Erin (Tim) Lockhart, Will Earlywine, Terianne (Martin) Burke, Timothy (Kelli) Earlywine, Timothy (Alaina) Earlywine, Andrew P. Earlywine, Rachele E. Earlywine, Rebekah E. Earlywine, Mary Deeter, Christina Deeter, Joshua C. Deeter, Nancy Earlywine, Brittany Earlywine, Patricia (Jason) Ferguson, James (Christine) Earlywine, Alyssa Earlywine, Alayna Earlywine; his great nieces and nephews, Luke J. Predeceased by his parents, sister, Betty Earlywine, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at St. Anthony of Padua at 10:30 a.m. A memorial visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until time of service. Inurnment private. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Poor Clare Collettine Nuns or NAMI of Northern Illinois.
