Perry W. Anderson

Perry W. Anderson, born Aug. 13, 1920, passed away peacefully on April 7, 2012.nbsp; He had 91 great years and a couple bad months.nbsp; Perry was a resident at Wesley Willows.nbsp; He is survived by his immediate family; son Warren of Phoenix, AZ (wife Katie, daughters Kelsey and Rosie) and daughter Becky of Itasca, IL (husband Scott, daughters Rachel and Kelly).nbsp; Perry is also survived by extended family and numerous friends.nbsp; He was preceded in death by the love of his life, wife Rachel.nbsp; A member of The Greatest Generation, Perry was a World War II veteran, serving in the Atlantic and Pacific theatre as a member of the U.S. Navy Armed Guard.nbsp; A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 14,nbsp;atnbsp;3:30 p.m., with a reception to follow at the Nicholas Conservatory and Gardens, 1354 N. 2nd St., nbsp;Rockford, IL.nbsp; In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wesley Willows Staff Education Fund.nbsp;
