Pauline T. Knitter, 74
Rockford- Pauline T. Knitter, 74, passed away Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in her home, surrounding by her loving family. Born September 19, 1940 in Sparkman, Arkansas, the daughter of Herschel & Dennis (Harrison) Thrower. Pauline worked for Warner Lambert for 30 years. She married her love Joseph A. Knitter on November 30, 1989, he predeceased her on September 16, 1997.
Pauline was an avid Green Bay Packer fan, and especially Aaron Roger fan. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by son Sterling (Erma) Lambert; daughter Sharon K. Anderson; grandchildren Cortney, Michael, Shalaetne, Crystal, and Lexavier; special niece Raven Felton; siblings Margarine Edgeston, Elizabeth Gates( Ronald), John Paul Thower (Claire) all of Rockford, Rose Thower of Bowie MD, Freddie (Carol) Thower of D.C., and Joyce Hunter of Camden Ark. A host of nieces, nephews, and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by parents, husband, and siblings Theodore Thrower, Sherman Thrower, Dorothy Jones, Josie Jackson, and Hershal Thrower.
Funeral service will be 12 pm Saturday, July 11, 2015 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N. Rockton Ave., Rockford, IL 61103.
