Pauline M. Malani, 91Loving Mother and Nana Pauline M. Malani, 91, Rockford, died peacefully at 3:45 p.m. Monday, March nbsp;28, 2011 in Loyalton of Rockford.nbsp; Born November 19, 1919 in Cassano Magnago, Italy, daughter of Emilio and Maria Ballabio Varalli. Married Peter J. Malani in Rockford on September 21, 1940.nbsp; Member of St. James Catholic Church and their Altar and Rosary Society.nbsp; Also a member of the Lombardi and Verdi Club Auxiliaries.nbsp; She was a perfectionist in everything she did.nbsp; She loved her home, her flowers and she loved cooking everything from scratch.nbsp; She also loved her friends and her neighbors, past and present.nbsp; Her grandson Michael was the light of her life and she was so happy to see him marry Julie. Survivors include her daughter, Sharon (Mel) Hendricks; grandson, Michael (Julie) Hendricks; nieces, nephews and cousins as well as cousins in Italy.nbsp; Predeceased by her husband on November 12, 2001, parents and brother.nbsp; Special thanks to Fr.
