Pauline E. Wilson, 56, Rockford, passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011, in Rockford Memorial Hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born March 28, 1954, in Gary, Indiana, the daughter of Calvin and Pearlie (Tolefree) Poole. Pauline worked as a CNA for many years until retiring for medical reasons. She was a member of Faith Center and accepted Christ at an early age. Pauline loved to cook and enjoyed helping other people. Survived by her daughters, Yvette "Nicci" Howard and Yolonda Howard; her mother, Pearlie M. Tolefree, all of Rockford; sister, Felicia Tolefree of Alabama; brothers, Terry Smith of California and Jerry Smith of Indiana; uncle, Andrew Chavis of Georgia; favorite cousin Luciette Bevineau; best friend, Ellen Box; special daughter, Patricia Harris, all of Rockford; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her father, Calvin; brother, Philip; and grandmother, Leticia. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses, and staff at Rockford Memorial Hospital, Visiting Nurses Association, Davita Churchview Dialysis , the Paratransit drivers, and her caregivers, Chemere and Gwen for all of their kind and compassionate care.Memorial services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Faith Center, 4721 S.
