Paul Krominga Sr.

Paul P.K Krominga Sr., 76, of Rockford died June 6, 2011 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center.nbsp; Born March 31, 1935 in Titonka, IA the son of the late Amos and Pearl Krominga Jr.nbsp; Paul worked for many years as a manager of Shipping and Receiving at Mattison Machine Works.nbsp; He enjoyed playing golf, bowling and watching the Bears and Bulls play.nbsp; He was a member of the LLL Club and Eagles Club. Everyone whom knew Paul said he was a good man, a people person who loved spending time with his family and friends.nbsp; Paul married Darlene Ihde on February 14, 1987 in Nashua, IA.nbsp; She preceded him in death on December 26, 1997.nbsp; Survivors include his daughter, Shelley Gale (Greg Bankord), son-in-law, Jeff Brechon, grandchildren, Karla Gale (Brendan Witz), Kari Gale, Kyle (Amiee) Brechon, Corey and Cody Brechon; great grandchildren, Aubrey, Juliana, Lilly and Rieker, siblings, Donna, Russ, Gene, Roger (Maryann), Betty and his two cats Sissy and Lester.nbsp; He was predeceased by son Paul Krominga Jr., daughter, Sharie Kay Brechon and sister, Diane. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at Fitzgerald Funeral Home- Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford, Rockford. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow visitation at the LLL Club, 1515 9 th St., Rockford, IL.nbsp; nbsp;In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the family to establish a memorial.nbsp;
