Paul James Jimenez, Sr., 52, Rockford, died at 11:48 a.m. Wednesday, May 26, 2010 in Rockford Memorial Hospital. Born January 8, 1958 in Chicago, son of Paul and Anita Torres Jimenez. Graduated from East High School in 1976. Married Generosa Moon in Rockford on September 21, 2002. He worked in the construction profession for over 26 years and was a member of Local No.288 and Local No.32.Paul was a very loving man who was a big Bob Marley fan. He loved the White Sox as well as the Bears and Blackhawks. He was involved in low-riding and his car club was "Street Scene" . Survivors include his wife, Generosa "Marcie" Jimenez; sons, Paul Jimenez, Javier (Lisa) Jimenez and Gabriel Jimenez; grandson, Javier Coogan-Jimenez; mother, Anita C. Delgado; sons, Marcus Chatman and Mardez (Stephanie) Chatman; daughter, Ericka Chatman; grandson, Brandon Chatman; sisters, Rose Delgado and Elvira Delgado; brothers, Elias Delgado, Lupe Delgado, Paul Jay Queen and Tom Delgado; his godmother, Cruz Jimenez and mother-in-law, Irene Moon. Predeceased by his father, Paul Jimenez; father-in-law, Ygnacio Moon and uncle, Eulalio Jimenez. Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 4, 2010 in St. Patrick Catholic Church with Rev. Ricardo Hernandez officiating. Visitation from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 N.
