Paul Caravello

Paul Caravello, 82, of Rockford, passed away September 27, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was born in Monreale Italy on September 18, 1935 the son of Giuseppe and Santa (Russo) Caravello. Married Domenica Ingrao on September 28, 1964 and worked for Elco Industries and was also a Tailor for Marshall Fields.
He is survived by his children, Joseph ( Kim) Caravello, John (Staci) Caravello, Rita (Todd) Schmidt all Rockford and Maria (Mike) Alfano of Walworth, WI. His grandchildren,
Alyssa, Joey, Nick, Zoey, Giana, Gabrielle, Luca, Silvana, Sienna and Michael.
Predeceased by his parents and his 12 brothers and sisters.
The family would like to thank the staff at northern Illinois hospice for their compassionate care and love. A special thank you to Jenny, Michelle and Barb they truly are angels on earth.

Funeral service Friday, September 29, 2017 at 12 p.m. Fitzgerald Funeral Home, Mulford chapel 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with visitation from 10 to 12 p.m. Interment will follow the service at Arlington Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
