Patricia S. Rapp Scadden

Patricia S. Rapp Scadden, 86, of Rockford passed away Monday, February 12, 2018. Born January 8, 1932, in Rockford, the daughter of Russell W. and Carol (Nelson) Rapp. Patricia graduated from Byron High School. Patricia married William J. Scadden in 1967. She was a longtime employee of Swedish American Hospital as an executive assistant.
Survived by her sisters, Nancy Hillman and Maryann Swanson; brothers, Rodney Rapp and Steven (Sue) Rapp; nieces, Kim McCaslin, Jill (Mike) Carr, Megan Rapp, Tammy Owens, Jessica Rapp and Barbara Arnold; nephews, Rodney (Wendy) Swanson, Tony (Jessica) Zellers, Steven (Diane) Swanson, Rodney Rapp, Robert Rapp, Russell Rapp, David Rapp and Thomas Rapp and numerous great nieces and nephews; good friends, Jim and Lorna Rost and her steadfast Welsh Terrier, Jax. Predeceased by her parents, husband, William J. Scadden and brothers, Thomas and Michael Rapp.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made in Patricia’s name to WTCARES, 164 N.
