Patricia S. Papadopoulos

Patricia S. Papadopoulos, 64, Rockford, died at 2:32 a.m. Thursday, January 31, 2008 in her home surrounded by her loved ones. Born April 9, 1943 in Fort Worth, Texas, daughter of Charles and Queva Kinnikin Wallace. Rockford resident since 2004. Married Christos Papadopoulos in Virginia Beach, VA on December 14, 1988. Member of the BahaI faith. Most recently she has been an Assistant in the National Teaching Office of the BahaI National Center in Evanston. Pat was a dedicated educator. Throughout her years of teaching she had a major impact on the depressed, deprived and forgotten areas of Mississippi. Survivors include her husband, Christos; daughter, Elizabeth Anne (Aaron) Townsend; grandchildren Jack and Byron Townsend and her best friend of 40 years, Suni Hannan. Predeceased by her parents and 2 brothers. Graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 2, 2008 in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery.
