Patricia "Pat" Margarete Johanna Wandel

Patricia “Pat” Margarete Johanna Wandel, 58, Rockford, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, February 17, 2021, in her home. She was born November 7, 1962, in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, the daughter of Klaus and Ursula (VonKomorowski) Wandel. Pat was a graduate of Belvidere High School. She married her life partner, Eileen Clevenger, on March 6, 2013. Eileen passed away on November 19, 2014. She most recently worked as a driver for Fed Ex. Pat was an avid Bears and Cubs fan and was extremely well known for her talent playing slow pitch soft ball. She played for various teams in northern Illinois. Pat was a very kind and giving person who was a true friend to many and was always willing to offer a helping hand when needed. Everyone who knew her enjoyed her great sense of humor.
Survived by her mother, Ursula Wandel of Rockford; her father, Klaus (Van) Wandel of Payson, AZ; her siblings, Debbie (Randy) Kelly of Louisville, KY, Robert (Betty) Wandel of Park Ridge, and Irene (Troy) Ambler of Chandler, AZ; her nieces and nephews, Tabatha Poe, Destiny (Ben) Ingram, Jamie Kelly, Sophia Wandel, and Kinzie, Kollyn, and McKenna Ambler; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and her 4 legged companion, Nando. Predeceased by her life partner, Eileen, and her 4 legged friend, Rio.
