Patricia L. Corey

Patricia L. Corey, 79, Rockford, died peacefully in her home on Monday, February 24, 2014. Born July 27, 1934 in Los Angeles, CA, daughter of Edwin Angeloty and Lillian Fogo Angeloty. Graduated from West High School in 1952 and married Jack R. Corey in Rockford on September 2, 1955. Formerly employed by Lamp Elevator as a bookkeeper. Pat was always keenly aware of world and local events. She loved to play cards and dominos and enjoyed doing jig-saw puzzles. She especially appreciated her long time Wednesday night group of friends that she had been with since high school.

Survivors include her husband, Jack; daughters, Leisa Barbour, Bloomington, IL and Julie (Mike) Runde, Grapevine, Tx; grandchildren, Brett Barbour, Milwaukee, WI, Brittany Barbour, St. Louis, MO, Braeden (Keri) Barbour, Bloomington, IL, Logan Runde, Taylor Runde and Kendyl Runde all of Grapevine, TX; several cousins, including her special cousin, Jan Chipalla. Predeceased by her parents and step-brother, Richard Gantz.

Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 27, 2014 in Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Mulford Chapel, 1860 S. Mulford Rd. with Dr. Chuck Olson, Chaplain of P.A. Peterson Center For Health, officiating. Visitation from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday and from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service on Thursday.
