Patricia L. Cardenas

Patricia Lynn Cardenas, 65 of Rockford, IL passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022.

Patricia was born in Rockford on August 10, 1956, daughter of Arthur E. and Janet Brazel. She attended St. Edward Catholic Church in Rockford. Patricia enjoyed listening to music, dancing and she loved singing karaoke of all music genres. Most of all, she cherished her time spent making memories with her loving family, especially her dear grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Those left to honor Patricia’s memory include her husband, Antonio Cardenas; children, Melissa (Noel) Perez, Veronica Martinez, Daryle (Avelina) Rodriguez, Steven Cardenas and Cecilia (Jose) Ayala; grandchildren, Sergio, Nailea, Oracio, Mia, Jayden, Phoenix, Nathalie, Romeo, Nayeli, Steven, Roman and Avani. She is predeceased by her parents.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, 3910 N Rockton Ave. Rockford, IL 61103. Rosary will begin at 6:30 p.m. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, April 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Edward Catholic Church, 3004 11th Street Rockford, IL 61109 with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass. Final resting place will be in Calvary Catholic Cemetery. A Celebration of Life luncheon will follow the burial.
