Patricia K. Bauman

Patricia K. Bauman, 71, of Rockford passed away Friday, January 17, 2014 at Presence St. Anne's Center. Born July 26, 1942 in Rockford, the daughter of Arthur and Ruth Winternheimer. Pat graduated from Muldoon High School, Class of 1960. She married Gerard Bauman on August 8, 1964 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Rockford. While Gerard was in the service and stationed in France, Pat and Gerard lived in a suburb of Paris for 4 years. In the late 1980s, she owned a gift shop in the Victorian Village and enjoyed crafting and painting throughout her life. Pat was also a member of St. Rita's Catholic Church for many years.

Survived by her husband, Gerard; sons, Gregory (Catherine) Bauman and Carl (Dawn) Rhodes-Bauman; daughter, Jenny Bauman-Foss; grandchildren, Matthew and Jessica Bauman, Hannah and Elizabeth Foss and Taylor Rhodes. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Arthur and twin sister who passed away as an infant, Nancy.

Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Drive. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. on Thursday at the church. Interment will be privately held in Arlington Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Presence St. Anne's Center.
