Patricia J. Podraza

Patricia Jean Podraza, 63, entered eternal rest September 15, 2018 at River Bluff Nursing Home in Rockford, IL. She was born in Chicago, IL on August 24, 1955. Patricia lived most of her life in the Chicago area before moving to the Northern Illinois region and settling in Rockford, Illinois. She is a former member of Heartland Community Church. The love for her family was perhaps the most important part of her life, especially her love for her two sons and grandchildren. She is remembered by many as having a generous heart, a passionate love for the Chicago Blackhawks, her latch hook rugs, never missing a college football game, and always finding time to brag to others about her children. She was also known for her love of animals, particularly her dog Kibbles, and her cats Bella, Emmy, and Missy. Before moving to River Bluff Nursing Home, Patricia especially enjoyed spending her time with her best friend, Linda, and her dog, Abby, with whom she was neighbors for over 8 years. Patricia will be held forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

Survivors include: sons, John (Marianne); Jason (Kathleen); father, Gregory Demos (Lynne); grandchildren, Matthew and Xavier; siblings, Roxanne Balidemos (Rico); Steven Demos (Patty); sister-in-law, Daisy Demos; nieces, Kristina Barten (David); Cassie Freddy (Joshua); Merissa Rivera; Melissa Rivera; nephews, Kevin Demos (Becky); Corey Demos; Tony Rivera (Gina); Christopher Balidemos; Michael Demos. She is predeceased by her mother, Maryon Demos and her brother, Tom Demos.
