Patricia A.Pat Day, 70, Belvidere, died Saturday, August 15, 2009, in her home. She was born March 17, 1939, in PeEll, Washington, the daughter of John and Bertha (Drawsky) Kowalsky. Pat married Thomas J. Day in Oak Park on December 4, 1960. He predeceased her in Belvidere on July 29, 2009. They lived in the Rockford area since 1966. She was employed as office manager at Motorola for over 25 years and later worked at their Harvard location. Pat was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church.

Survived by her daughter, Martha ( Roger) Kamp of Rockford, granddaughters, Rebecca and Danielle Kamp; mother-in-law, Marion Day; nieces and nephews, Diana (Chip) Swenson, Kim (Gerry) Bojarski, Jaymee (Randy) Robinson, Rob (Lois) Horley, Will (Melaine) Horley, and Peter Horley and her cousin, Leo (Eva) Kowalski. Predeceased by her husband, Tom, her parents, brother, John Kowalsky, brothers-in-law, John Day and Robert Horley, and niece, Susan Harrison.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 A.M. Friday, August 21, 2009, in St. Rita Catholic Church, 6254 Valley Knoll Drive, Rockford, Il 61109 with Msgr. Gerald P. Kobbeman officiating.
