Pasquale “Pat” “Papa” Musso, 78, of Rockford passed away Sunday, October 15, 2017. Born June 14, 1939, in Rockford, the son of Frank and Lena (Tomisino) Musso. Pasquale married Olga Villarreal on February 2, 1962 in Rockford. He worked as a machinist building printing press machines at Rockwell International and later retiring from Rockford Process Control. Pasquale was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, dancing and watching the Chicago Cubs and Bears play. He liked watching a good old Western movie, especially if John Wayne was in it. Above all, Pasquale loved his family; from spending time with them whenever he could, family dinners on Sunday and watching his grandchildren play sports.
Lovingly survived by his wife of 55 years, Olga; children, Frank (Trinidad) Musso, Kim Musso, Wally (Dana) Musso, Leo Musso, Amy (Ernesto) Guadarrama, Melody (Martin) Rodriguez and Ariel (Stephanie) Perez; 21 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Virginia Castanza; sister-in-law, Grace Musso and numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brothers, Mariano Musso, Dominic Musso, Del Musso, twin brother, Roy Musso, sister-in-law, Elaine Musso, brother-in-law, Conrad Castanza and granddaughter, Dominique Musso.
Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. Visitation will Friday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Fitzgerald Funeral Home & Crematory, Riverside Chapel, 3910 North Rockton Ave and will continue at church on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Burial in Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
