Pamela S. Knapp

Pamela S. Knapp, 70, of Loves Park passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 at OSF St. Anthony Medical Center, surrounded by her siblings, Patti, Ray and Tami. Born February 25, 1947, in Salisbury, Maryland, the daughter of Elvin Ray and Loretta Mae (Fish) Smith. Pam retired from Swedish American Health System working in employment recruitment for the HR Department for 30 years. Pam was a true “cat lady” and adored her kitties like they were her children.
Survived by her siblings, Patti (Dave) Harms of Lindenwood, IL, Tami (Tracy) Summers of Blue Ridge, GA and Ray Smith of Minneapolis, MN; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Predeceased by her parents and brother, Paul.
Memorial service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017 in the Chapel at Swedish American Hospital.
