Graduated from Boylan Catholic High School in 1967. Worked for Star SU as a corporate travel coordinator. Member of St. Bridget Catholic Church. Avid Chicago Bears and Cub fan.

Survivors; Mother, Virginia Spoden; Sisters, Nancy (Chuck) Beck and Beth (Carl) Seaberg; Brother; Mark (Erin) Spoden; Nephews, Mark Beck, Chris Beck, Greg (Carrie) Beck, Nick Spoden and Sean Spoden; Niece, Tia Seaberg and special great-nieces Kennedy and Kysa Beck;nbsp; Aunts; Joan Rafferty, Marg Spoden and Eileen Bracke. Numerous cousins and friends.

Funeral Mass 11 am Saturday, December 18, 2010 at St. Bridget Catholic Church 600 Clifford Avenue, Loves Park, IL 61111 with Father Burt Absalon officiating. Visitation from 5 to 8 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:30 p.m. Friday, December 17, 2010 at Fitzgerald Funeral Home amp; Crematory (Riverside Chapel) 3910 N. Rockton Avenue. Visitation will continue from 10 until 10:45 am Saturday at church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family to be determined at a later date.
